Any idea what does it cost to replace vinyl siding on a fairly decent single family house (2800 sq ft between 2 floors) ?
Any suggestion is appreciated
Thanks

'here' standard rate of just siding install from scratch,,,$100/sq. and maybe can find a discount applicator for less given the economy. The tear off of the old siding could be an addition,,,but maybe they would do it as a concession to getting the job. Might be it would be "BEST" to tear off ALL old siding and start fresh,,,this keeps windows easier to seal properly. The MOST important part is window flashing, and counter flashing,,,without those done "PROPERLY" the whole rest of the job is just a temp job and you or nobody else wants that. Less than 1 out of 10 applicators will actually flash correctly!!!! Research THAT aspect for yourself and make sure they do it the BEST way!!!
