Found Some Abandoned Properties

I have recently found three homes that are abandoned by the owners. I have located the tax records and went to the county seat and found some info from the recorder, but haven't gotten much futher than that. Two of the three are in very good shape and have lockboxes on them. The third is slated for fire fighter practice, but is structurally sound. Anyone have any ideas?
