Awful smell

I have a terrible stink in a couple 2nd floor units. Had squirrels in attic, used various pest poisons to handle. Found 3 dead squirrels and pulled them out. The smell remains.

How do I find the source of the smell? I have gas FHA; could the ducts be the distribution mechanism?

Thanks in advance.

Replied

Try and identify the smell.

Something dead? Urine? Sewage? Rotting food? Cockroach feces? And so forth.

Each has a distinctive stink (how sad that i know this....) but once you identify the smell you can move toward remediation.

Good luck and let us know what happens.
