Buying first rental

I’m struggling trying to find money to buy my first deal. My credit is not good but I do work a full time job as a Leasing Agent in property management. I just need to figure out how to get the capital.

I would recommend the Dave Ramsey program to get your budget in order (the book is The Total Money Makeover) but also work on fixing your credit.  If you are still interested in investing after all of this, then you will be great.  It is possible to do this business without money or credit but it is extremely difficult.  I think you'll do much better if you get your personal finances in order first.

Dave Ramsey's program helped me get my personal finances in order years ago.  I don't practice everything he teaches now but it is a great place to start.

Good luck.
