Cost of vinyl siding a home

Hello group.  I'm an active investor of 12+ years.  I've done a few flips and hold some rentals.  One thing I've never done is completely re-side a home.

I'm hoping to glean some information from the group on repair cost for vinyl siding.  I've done some generic research online and the cost ranges are wide.  Looked at HomeAdvisor and Angie's list.  Here's what we are looking at:

1500 sq ft home, 1-story home in S. Carolina.

Existing siding is wood, and is rotted in too many areas to spot-fix/replace.

Just like every other investor, I'm looking for the least expensive option, while keeping quality at a "B" or better.

>> What would it cost to remove and replace siding (ballpark estimates welcome)?  Thanks!

@Dave Rav costs can vary greatly depending on a lot of factors. Probably the cheapest will be around $6500 and up to $10k depending on what type of siding and trim etc.
