Realtor commission or flat fee for flips?

Hen Ley
Posted

If selling a flip with a realtor, is it better to offer a commission or flat fee?  If you offer a flat fee, would the buyer's agent get the same, a commission, or how would that be structured?

@Hen Ley I'm a Full Service $3k Flat Fee Realtor and for the life of me, I don't understand why anyone would continue to pay real estate agents 6% of the purchase price in commissions when you don't have to!

I saved my last client $13,800.00 to use towards their next acquisition and they couldn't be happier.

I only charge a flat fee of $3000 because it's what I wish I had when I was flipping houses!

The flat fee model is the future (for now) until all transactions are made digitally online.

As the seller, you decide what you'll pay the listing agent and the buyer's agent.

My clients pay me a flat fee and pay 2.5-3% commission to the buyer's agent.

It makes me happy to help my clients save $1000s.  I love seeing them prosper and after all, it's their hard-earned equity, they should get to maximize it!

Good luck Hen!
