Question about Foundation Repair

Hello Everyone

I have a question about Foundation Repair. I found a property for sale it is 2,900 sq ft. Great location. It has foundation problems. Real Estate agent said it was quoted 50k in order to fix the foundation. The foundation is pretty bad the center of the property is not cracked so this means the sides of the house the Left and Right side are the ones that will need repair. My question is what else needs to be repaired once the foundation is fixed? Also it is a Brick Home. Thank everyone for the help. I hope i explained it correctly. I really appreciate it.

Thank you

Steve, in answer to your original question, it really depends on the amount of repair that they are going to be doing that determines what will have to be replaced/repaired after the foundation is lifted. In my experience, things that may have to repaired include (1) water/sewer lines, (2) windows that crack from lifting, (3) sheetrock, and (4) masonry. These items do not occur in every repair but have happened to me. Also, you should budget a little extra for floor leveling after the foundation is repaired. It's very difficult to get the floors perfectly level. (I ended up spending almost $1000 just on floor leveling on one of the worst foundation jobs ever, even my foundations guy said the foundation was a nightmare.) Hope this helps.
