Cheapest way to send mailers?

I know this may be obvious but I figured I'd ask. I am interested in sending out mailers to my local area. I have already designed and have the mailers in hand. I now just have to label them and stamp them. I am going to print out labels and paste them myself. Now I know a stamp is $0.55 but I was curious to know if there was a deal that the postal service offers to those sending out bulk mailers for a cheaper postage?

Any advice on the process besides the stamp portion is also welcome.

Thanks!
