We are about to dive into our do first go with a property in SE Oklahoma in McAlester. Does anyone know what all you need to pull permits on there for renovation? Or where I can find out online!?

If I am taking on a flip project with a large scope of work, the first thing I do is send my partner or contractor down to the building department and find out what has been pulled and what hasn't. I then submit a new plan and ask what permits will be required. I find that the saying of "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" does not apply to local building inspectors. The last thing you want is to update your electrical and have your walls drywalled and painted and the inspector ask you to open everything up.
