Bowed Floors

Guys I have my second property locked up. The house is great however the laminate floors are bowed on the first level of the house. This is occuring primarily in the dining room, one bedroom and part of the foyer/living room area. I believe it is probably because of bowing floor joists (probably about 300 sq ft of the house). You can't see the bow but you can slightly feel it as you walk the house and I am scared it might scare an end buyer.

The house is over 70 years old and I understand this is "normal" with an older house however I wonder are there any relatively inexpensive fixes (less than $4000-$5000) for this problem? Is there a way to use some type of leveling compound to fix it. I am hoping I can tear the laminate up, put some leveling compound on the boards and relay laminate on top of the boards. Are there any suggestions or is this something a buyer will just have to live with in these older homes?
