How to Manage a Long Distance Rehab?

Hey BP,

I’m working through managing a long distance rehab right now, I’m located in CA, and doing a rehab on a multi family in NY. I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on how to manage a rehab remotely with a local contractor and make sure they were not getting overcharged?

Has anyone had any experience doing this?

Planning to trust my local agents knowledge and contacts for a contractor, but want to ensure I am mitigating risk of getting ripped off on the rehab and not going over my budget.
