Prefab slabs from Floor and Decor? Any reviews or experience?

Question

Doing a reno on a rental house. Value puts it 50/50 for deciding to do Formica countertops v. something more expensive. In researching, I stumbled across Floor and Decor's very affordable prefab slabs of granite and quartz.  Has anyone purchased and installed these countertops? Any thoughts on the experience and product?

Pre Fab countertops are great for a kitchen where there are no special cabinets or weird measurements, just a basic straight run of cabinets. Some places even have precut island tops now.....and you can't beat the price savings. The cut-outs for the sink and faucets are usually only $200 or so.

@Jodi McKelvin How did they turn out? I need to pull the trigger on some countertops asap and I came across those prefab countertops like you and they are tempting.

Thanks Doug. We decided to give the prefab a try. 112 inch prefinished countertops in about 10-12 granite/quartz/marble selections. We have a galley kitchen, so it works well for that. We'll see if we think it is still a bargain after cutting the hole for the drop in sink.

My wife and I are in the middle of a Live and Flip and we did epoxy counter tops they are relatively inexpensive and easy to do, check out youtube there are a ton of videos.
