Realistic rehab cost and timeframe

I just got a full gut rehab house under contract in Jersey City, NJ. Before putting an offer on the house I did not get a chance to get a quote from a GC as the market around NYC is really hot and houses are under contract in no time. This is the first time I have bought a distressed property. I did buy a house before but never worked with GC before.

So I just wanted to get an idea of how much would a 1400 sq ft house in JC cost to rehab and what kind of time frames are reasonable for full gut rehab.
