Tax Deed property listed with Realtor

Posted

Hello,

This is my first post so not sure I am in the right area. I was looking online at some tax deed properties available to bid on in Baltimore Maryland and I came across one that is currently listed by a realtor. Which takes precedence in that case?

@Felicia Whiteside The descriiption you gave is unclear. Maryland does not sell tax deeds. MD sells tax liens.

Where specifically were you looking? Tax deeds and tax liens are not listed with real estate agents.

In Maryland, a prperty that is in tax sale foreclosure can still be sold by the owner until the tax sale foreclosure is completed. Sometimes people like me who have already foreclosed on a tax lien, then resell the property. The listing may mention that is is a tax sale foreclsure.
