Tax Lien List???

I reside in Baltimore md and want to look to invest in tax liens. How do I find the list and when do liens become available?

Wow this is the second question tonight about the Baltimore tax sale.  Presuming you are talking about baltimore City go to BidBaltimore.com.  If you are talking about Baltimore county go to the county website. Neither has this years info up yet

Hi Damon!

I'm basing this on how it works where I am in Colorado but, check with your County Treasurer's website for details about Baltimore. Usually every county publicizes what properties are being auctioned prior to the auction, which can be held every month to once a year.

We emailed our County Treasurer's office and the assistant to the County Attorney emailed us a list of investor-held tax liens. We had to fill out a request form and specify dates.

Investor-held tax liens aren't what we were looking for. We were told that: "There is no way to search or provide information regarding delinquent tax accounts prior to the publication of the list of delinquent accounts in September of every year (prior to the November sale).  That information on a broad and searchable scale is just not available."

So, we too are also stuck. As of right now, we're researching the status of our county-held tax liens (the ones that didn't have a winning bid during the last auction).

Also, if an actual expert in this comes forward, I'd love to learn more information about this subject.
