Best way to learn the note business?

Question

Hello...newbie here...I have been researching buying and holding investment properties in cities such as Memphis and studying up on notes too. I have the money and time to invest but with so much info and opportunity I am not sure where to start. Any advise would be greatly appreciated...thank you

I suggest you research and interview multiple sources of properties here in Memphis. There are several different products out there and I am sure you will find one that is right for you. Memphis is a delicate market. Some areas are street by street when it comes to homes I will buy or pass on.

Thanks Curt...I went to Memphis with 3 other investors back in June and met with a company that renovates, sells then manages properties..they purchased 9 homes total..I am still on the sidelines ...getting restless and wanting to get the wheels moving. I can by investment properties today but still not sure if I want to be a landlord. I only learned of investing in notes this past month so I am trying to get on the fast track to see which is best for me ...perhaps a combination of both...
