Bogleheads & note investing & IRA
Hello everybody!
I am a boglehead who is transforming into real estate investing, specifically notes investing. I wonder if there are any bogleheads here?! Would be great to connect!
I have not had chance to talk to any self-directed IRA providers and by researching their websites the fees seem to be quite high. I hate high fees! :))
What would be the "Vanguard" of self-directed IRA industry who is appropriate for the dynamic note investing?
Let's say I put 50k in this IRA and buy 2-3 notes or partials. What would the annual fees and commissions?
Any input is appreciated!

I like Accuplan (American Estate and Trust). After watching thousands of transactions go through companies I didn't particularly like (such as Equity Trust), I've had the best success with Horizon Trust and Accuplan agents. I will refer you to an Accuplan agent if you like with options for low fees or total checkbook control - whichever you like better. If you are only investing $50k total, you'll be better off paying less and having the custodian run the transaction(s) for you until the account is about $100k. Let me know if I can help.
