Good morning BP family

I am pretty new to Real Estate and had a few question about Wholesaling in New York.

  1. Are bandit sign illegal in NYC ? if not do i need a permit?
  2. What areas are best for Bandit sign? and how do you find them?
  3. Same question as Number 2 but for direct mail?
  4. White or yellow letters or post card? Which ones have given you the most rings?
  5. What company do most Wholesalers use in NYC for direct mail and bandit signs?

I have a lot more questions but i think this is a good start for now, also if their any Wholesaler in NYC that would like a free lunch/ dinner in exchange for more information about Wholesaling please pm me.

Thanks BP!

Michael Gansberg does indeed hit it on the nail. You have to have so many "ins" to touch the wholesale side in NYC. I'm sure a few have succeeded. Maybe with a large 5k plus earnest deposit plus the buyers may be the wholesalers friends. Who knows. As a newbie who hasn't done zero deals and just learning. I would start in PA or NJ.

IM SUPER EXCITED to do my first wholesale deal. Just have to piece together the puzzle. Currently I'm closing on a 2 family semi in Staten Island, maybe Wednesday. My own 1st house. Whew!! M m
