Current South Western Ohio REIA meetings??

Question

Hi, I’m a beginner/ aspiring RE investor from Oxford, Ohio, home of Miami University. Reading, listening, learning for the past year and half and I want to get out and meet with other investors. Oxford is filled with opportunities that I feel have been passed up or forgotten about and the housing need continues to grow. Would love to bounce ideas off and get to know others! Would anyone know of any BP meet ups or REIA meet ups in the area? Thanks for your help in advance!

@Blake Jennings  Hey Blake!  Get in touch with @Zachary Elliott.  He started up a meetup for the Cincinnati/NKY area.  It has been growing and has some good turnout every time I've been there.  Hopefully see you at one of the meetups soon!

Cincinnati REIA has a massive program and over 800 members.  Two general membership meetings and 12 or 14 separate focus groups.  All over Zoom.  If there was interest in Oxford, we could make an Oxford Focus Group.  www.cincinnatireia.com .  There is a general meeting tonight.

I'm an '05 Miami grad and Oxford RE investor since 2010. I live on the west coast now (military) so I can't speak to the meet-ups but might be able to answer questions or offer advice if you need.

@Blake Jennings, I definitely echo @Adam Walter and @James Shapiro, the Cincy REIA is awesome and well worth the cost to join. The great thing for you is that all of the meetings are on Zoom now (the do have in-person available for the main meeting, but still cast on Zoom too) so you can join from Oxford!

There is a "Haves and Wants" Zoom meeting every Friday morning at 8:45am. I joined this morning along with 95 others. My favorite group is the Apartment Focus group led by Mark Hutton. The next meeting for this group is this Monday at 6:30pm.
