Does anyone use RUBS to charge tenants for utilities in Multnomah County? If so, can you share your experience?
Hey @Rocky Pe Benito , I think you would be better off charging a set amount on top of the rent for utilities. I see $75 including water, sewer & trash a lot and that would cover most of those expenses for you. If you are going to add those on to existing tenants make sure you are giving them 90 days notice and that added fee combined with their rent increase in the past 12 months does not exceed 9.9%.
