HELP with 2 offers in Southwest Phili

Hi all,

I am "new" to Philidelphia and recently got 2 offers on 2 condos in Southwest Phili. One is 5546 Chancellor st and the other is 716 S 56th st. One is refurbished and one not yet. Both bought off auction. Asking price is $55,000 and projected  rent is $800.

Does this make sense?? Are prices going up or down there. Does the rent make sense.? Phili is such a "block by block" city it so hard to tell without being there. @Paulette Midgette I have seen in the past you had a feel for this part of town. Anyone else that can way in would be appreciated.

Also did anyone have any dealing with a guy who's family name is Darmon?
