Hi,

I was recently told that "nobody" (presumably buyers and sellers) uses attorneys for closings in the Lehigh Valley, specifically in Allentown. Do you agree?

Thanks.

There is no need to use an attorney in Pa. attorneys just make the process more complicated and expenses. I did a flip in NJ and we had to use attorneys and it was a nightmare. Not sure how you guys put up with it. I use a simple one page contract when I buy an off market deal. Then my title company doesn’t all the rest. Super easy. If you know what your doing then there is no need for one. Now I buy properties as is and for cash. So I don’t suggest a newbie go out and buy a property as is if they don’t know what they are buying or are getting a loan. Just my two sense.
