REI friendly local bank/cu

Hey Y'all. I just moved to Nashville (actually Mt. Juliet) from San Diego about a week and a half ago. I'm looking for a good local bank / credit union to start to develop a relationship with. I definitely want one that can fund their own loans and mortgages. I'm currently in escrow (selling) on our house in San Diego, and when that closes I should have a nice chunk of cash to start acquiring properties, so I want to be ready.

Can anyone give me some good suggestions for local financial institutions that would be good to start a relationship with?

Thanks!

I've found Franklin Synergy to be the most willing and able in working with real estate investors, but word is that things are starting to slow down over there so I'm not sure if they are still as aggressive as they once were.
