I would like to find a job that has some connection to RE and/or REI. My current job provides a good income, which I need in order get started investing. However, my time would be better spent working in a place where I can gain experience in some aspect of real estate. Other than getting a licenses and becoming an agent, can anyone suggest some other avenues? I'm going to take a look at the Houston Builders Association web site and see if that gives me any ideas. Do you have creative ideas where to look? Thanks for any suggestions!!

@Elizabeth Davis

I really don't have a solid plan to find an agent in need of an assistant...You might stop in to a few of the big brokerages with a resume and see if they will send an email blast to their agents ...
