Looking for an experienced builder in Houston for build advice.

Hello everyone.  Would you be able to recommend a builder that could advise my partner and myself about the options we have to develop a smallish piece of land in the Houston Metro area (Northline)?  We are trying to make sense of the building codes, and some help would be most appreciated.
