FHA Financing Help Needed

Hey everyone, a friend and I are wanting to partner to purchase a 4plex. My current primary home is on an fha loan. My partner rents. Can we try to finance the quad with an fha loan since he doesn't currently have one, or would I have to stay off the loan in order to qualify since I already have an fha? TIA
