Purchasing Land within city limits to park RV

Hello - real quick - is it possible to purchase a small lot in San Antonio and park an RV for temp living? 

I have a 40 foot RV and in a park for now while scouting the area, and learning REI - but I figure if I can find a property cheap enough that for 600+ a month in rent at an RV park, I might as well put that towards a property.
