Rezone SFR to Duplex in San Antonio
Have you been successful in rezoning a SFR to a Duplex in the city of San Antonio?
From R-6 AHOD Residential Single-Family Airport Hazard Overlay District
To R-6 CD AHOD Residential Single-Family Airport Hazard Overlay District with a Conditional Use for a Duplex
This was previously considered by the City Council 08/03/2017 and a denial was recommended. As it is has now been a year, I'd like to reapply, but I'm looking for assistance from someone that has previously done this successfully.
The neighbor has been in opposition from the beginning and personally has an illegal duplex. There are many other illegal duplexes in the area. However, I have been the only person to do it all by the book and yet get a denial and receive visits from the code inspector.
