San Antonio small MF insurance cost

I got a tri-plex in San Antonio that has the replacement cost set at 260k. Last year I payed 1600 for the insurance with 1% deductible plus water backup. This year they want to jack it up to 2000, so I contacted them to see if we can increase the deductible to lower the premium. I am not planning on using the insurance for any small repairs, so I don't really care about a high deductible. Now, removing water backup (60) plus increasing the deductible from 1 to 5% still leaved the premium at 1600 - which is what i payed last year. Does that sound right to y'all? Increasing the deductible 5x only reduces the premium that little? Did you see such a massive increase in insurance costs this year? My increase is 20%! How much does everyone else pay for their small MF insurance?

That sounds about right to me, but a lot of variables go into the rate. I use a local insurance agent, that seems to do very well as far as pricing. If you'd like I'll pass along his info. I don't think I'm allowed to post it in the comments.
