Turning Bonus Room into Bedroom
Hello All. Moved to SATX back in May and bought off of 1604 and Marbach.
House is 4 bed 2.5 baths with a bonus room upstairs. Thinking about adding a closet to the bonus room to turn it into a bedroom. The room has windows and doors. Reason is to try to create value by being able to list the house for rent and in the future for sale as 5 BR instead 4 BR. Look at some other comps and it makes sense when looking at added value compared to cost
Are there any steps that are required in SATX to covert a bonus room to BR? Or is as simple as adding the closet?
