Multifamily units in Austin Texas

Hi All: My family is in the process of relocating to Austin Texas. I don't know much about Austin, but I have been in real estate for over 15 years.

I am interested in learning more about multifamily units ( duplex, quadplex) close to downtown.  Any suggestions as to where I should start looking? What i should keep an eye on? Any one invests in duplexes or quadplexes close to downtown?

Hello and Welcome to Austin.  I'm from Minneapolis and relocated to Ausitn myself several years ago.  80% of my business is in multifamily properties.  There are many opportunities in Austin... depending on where you need to be for work etc.  South Austin 78745 and 78748 have a few duplexes for sale although prices are rising as that area of town is becoming popular.  Also check out 78744, 78741.  Good Luck!
