Pulse of Austin Market

I have been building for about 7 years now and just moved to Austin a little over six months ago. Most of my experience is in Houston but I have made quite a bit of progress building a trade base in Austin (especially Georgetown/Liberty Hill Area). I understand my strengths are going to be on the rehab side due to my relationships with trades/vendors and overall experience in construction.

A few questions for the community,

-in some of the northern suburbs of Austin, is there is any market for flips?

-Should I try to partner with someone on my first couple deals that understands the business side and just offer to cover the rehab side for equity in the deal?

-Any other advice for someone who has the skill set and experience for the contracting side here in Austin?

Thanks in advance !

-Eric
