What to know about buying in the Cedar Park, Austin area

I am looking to buy a house to house hack in the Cedar Park/Anderson Mills area of Austin. My budget is tight but the amount of house I would be able to qualify for with an FHA co-singed house is flexible (max 390ish). I was wondering what the pros and cons of that area were for something like this and what I should be looking for or looking out for when it comes to looking at areas and homes in this area.

Thank you! - CM

Are you open to a duplex? When it comes to house hacking, I have seen the most success in either duplex or tri-plex if you are able to find one at a below-market price that already has some equity in it. If you are open to going a little farther north (Leander area) you might have more opportunity for some multi-unit options.
