Investing in Malta

I will be going back to Malta for 4 weeks in the summer to look at some properties. My objective it to buy to let (rent).

I have citizenship and family there, plus I love the place. Does anyone have any experience in investing in this country? I'm looking for some advice/suggestions on which villages to look into.

Did you end up investing in Malta?

I am Belgian and bought my first property in Malta 2 years ago. I think it was a very good timing but I have the feeling that things are changing in some areas. What do you think?

I am also looking to potentially invest in more properties there this year.
