Berlin, Germany Investing?

Hello Everyone, 

I am relatively new to the site but I have been spending time reading books on real estate investing and listening to the podcasts. My question is about getting started in Berlin, Germany. Is there anyone on here that is active in that market? I would like to find out if what I am reading about the American real estate world correlates the the german one and how best to get started.
