Investors from Dublin, Ireland?

Hi guy's! I am new to bigger pockets and am delighted to now be part of this wonderful community. I am 22 years of age and want to invest in real estate. However, at present I am saving and learning. I am looking to network with people around Ireland who would be willing to share tips with me to help me get started. So if you are from Ireland and would be willing to offer me some tips I would really appreciate it..

Hi Alan,

I am very new to the forum too so I am glad to see another newbie.

I really enjoy the TBP but I found a UK based equivalent to them : The Property Hub

They have property meet ups all across the UK but not one yet in Ireland so you can start one yourself! These are free events, often in pubs and there is no selling of other stuff involved. You can easily find some "hubbers" in Dublin or ask your estate agent or accountant for other investors and give them your details in case they want to network too. Find a pub and invite everyone there!

I am going to the Birmingham meet up  on Thursday 6th April and I am so excited!

The Irish property buying process is probably very different to the UK but I can recommend a few books and Youtube channels for you to have a look at : Search for Rob Dix on Amazon and read his books : The Complete Guide for property investing, Rich Dad Poor Dad (which I am sure you have already read) and on Youtube: monoperty.

I am so excited about investing in property, my goal is to quit my job in 6 years and start flipping properties full time - buy at auctions, refurb and sell!
