@Jack Bliss, I do not have any experience here.  That being said, before going into any paid mentorship/course, you need a basic level of knowledge.

First, what are you trying to learn about flipping?

What is holding you back from just jumping in and doing it?

What are you actually looking for?  Do you need deal flow?  Contractor connections?  Understanding of costs for certain things?

Before you pay for any course or mentorship, I would read up on Flipping.  For probably $100 you can get many books, including J. Scott's book here at Bigger Pockets, that will give you basics.

And if you still are hesitant to get started, and think this mentorship could help, I would have a list of very specific questions ready:

If you issue is finding good deals (welcome to RE today), ask what Tom will actually do to get you more deals?  Is he going to just tell you to knock on doors and write letters, or is he going to introduce you to well vetted agents in your market that are known to source deals and sell for realistic prices?

If it is getting capital to start: will Tom write checks to your deals?  Will he co-sign on loans from banks or private lenders, or will he just say, call 15 banks?

Is the mentor going to actually walk the deal with you, negotiate contracts with contractors, etc with you?
