Hello,

I'm thinking about signing up with a real estate coaching program. Has anyone else taken this path and would you mind sharing any pros and cons. Thanks!

@Niquya Corbin , with the except of @Jay Hinrichs , those who have responded to you provide paid coaching.  Nothing wrong with that, I have provided coaching in the past.  But I think you need a few more perspectives before you plunk down your money.

Here are some suggestions:

1.  First, search BP in the upper right corner of the page for coaching.

2.  Search BP for the name of the person or company you are considering purchasing coaching from.

3.  Google the person or company you are considering buying coaching from, and then google the person or company with the word "Review" and then the word "scam" after the name.

4.  Go to some other groups aside from the one you went to and ask around about the person or company.  This is important, it's a small world in real estate investing.

Sometimes it's amazing what you will find.

I'm not saying you shouldn't pay for coaching. I just think if this was your first REIA meeting, that you should be more careful before you pay for someone/something. Check it out more carefully first. Don't jump the gun. Then, if after you check it out carefully, you're still convinced, then go for it. Having been in the REIA world for a while, I can tell you things are not always what they seem.
