Investment Advice in Huntsville Zip code 35810

Shannon D.
Posted

Hi,

My husband and I are interested in buying investments properties in Huntsville Al. We were referred to a turnkey property management company that mostly sells properties in 35810 zip code. Based on a few old posts on previous forums, I got the idea that this is not a good neighborhood and a few even mentioned to avoid this area. I just wanted to see if anybody who is familiar with the city has any input or advice. Do you see any future appreciation on the properties in this neighborhood?

 Thanks a lot in advance,

I'm a local investor. 35810 ranges from D to C+ depending on what neighborhood you in. I don't own in 35810 but I have one in 35816 & 35805 (similar to 35810) and they have done ok. The properties were inexpensive and the returns have been good and I've only had one really bad tenant so far.

It just depends what type of property & tenant you want and what your goals are.
