Hey everybody, today I listened to BP podcast episode 229 with Zeona McIntyre who makes her real estate living off of short term rentals (primarily Airbnb). I was wondering if anybody in this area has any experience with this or could point me in the right direction for learning more. I'm primarily talking about buying or renting a house/apartment and using it exclusively as a short term rental. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Airbnb favors houses over apartments. Head over to airbnb and sign up. The intricacies are in hosting. I'd list a spare bedroom first and understand the platform, the customer service aspect, the airbnb interface, the communication, etc. Then go from there. Work your learning from the inside. Then finding a property will make a lot more sense. You can't tackle both at the same time without experience in at least one side.
