Looking for a "Real Estate" CPA in the Capital District
Hey All,
I bought my first Duplex this year and I'm looking for a recommendation / referral for a CPA in the Saratoga / Rensselaer / Albany County area. I need taxes and planing. I used to work for an accounting firm (on the admin side), so I do know that they are not all "real estate" focused or versed and as much as I'd like to use one of my old friends, I've over heard them give bad advise to another buy and hold investor so I'd prefer to avoid that whole situation.
So if anyone has a great person or office they recommend can you let me know? Thanks!

My person was getting in over her head with the real estate specific tax law, and the partnership paperwork we are now getting into. So I just switched from my old, used-to-be-a-CPA, to a new IRS Enrolled Tax Agent. He can actually legally represent you case of an audit, where as not everyone can. Tell him I sent you.
