Preferred Carpet Replacement?

I'm about to turn over my only rental for the first time and will need to replace the carpet and padding in the upstairs of a cape consisting of two bedrooms (10x10ish), the connecting short hallway and the carpeted stairs.

Where do you buy your carpet (with installation) in the Richmond, VA area? My rental is located just off Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield county south of Chippenham Pkwy.

I plan on a cheaper polyester with an upgraded padding in a neutral color. I know carpet can be per personal preference but what is your go to carpet style/color? Both bedrooms will have light gray walls with white trim. Recommendations on brands or styles?

Thank you for any suggestions!

Thank you to both. I started at Home Depot and looks like I can do entire job for ~$750 with the best padding they offer. The carpet options leave something to be desired but i'm sure will be worth a few years wear and tear.

They did offer it is about a 3 week turnaround but that works into my time frame as the house won't be officially empty for another 2 weeks.

Thanks again!
