Richmond Virginia Investors
Hey all! Recently moved to Richmond and looking to buy some investment properties in the area. Most likely by Brookland Park, Reedy Creek, Manchester, or spots in the west end. Does anyone have a particularly strong realtor with investment experience? Also would love any contractor recommendations or partnering with anyone with local investing experience.

Hi everyone, just moved to Richmond about a week and a half ago with my wife so wanted to introduce myself. Currently learning the area and neighborhoods, figuring out which areas have good price to rent ratios, and networking/building a team to get started as I dive into single family rentals. Looking forward to getting involved with local meetups, although it seems like things have definitely slowed down since COVID. I'm following a bunch of the ones on meetup.com and previous forum posts but open to recommendations if I'm missing any.
But overall excited to be a part of the Richmond RE community. If anyone needs help with anything, including an extra set of eyes to look at numbers, verifying work done by a contractor via walkthrough, etc feel free to reach out. I'm temporarily across the street from a Home Depot and Lowes in Short Pump which can be useful. Hope to see everyone at future meetups!
