Is there a tool for remote showing a property?

I am wondering if any of you have seen or used an application or software which allows for a remote showing a property?

Yes there is a mobile app called Periscope. You click a button and it starts recording what you see on your phone live and everyone following you on Twitter gets notified that you're broadcasting live. I've heard of real estate agents showing houses live this way.

I would recommend using a company that has a matterport pro 3d camera. I use this for some investors i work with in the Orange County, both before and after a rehab. The true View company Adam pulled up is an example of such a company. This is the same tour that Redfin was supposed to add to all listings, but I have not seen them in my area yet.

I have had a live google hang out (same as skype or face time; video chatting) to show wholesale property. They drive up to the house and call me, I give them the lock box code, in they go and I'm right there with them.

When it's time to leave I get to watch them put the keys back in the box. If you want more security, there is a such thing as a "smart box" where you can send a signal to open the lockbox and / or reset the code after they leave.

I would imagine you could do the same in reverse, skype with someone as you walk through the house. Setting up some IP cameras would likely not be to tough either.

I have done work creating 3d models using laser scanning technology in the commercial construction world. A Colleague of mine created a company using the technology for real estate. I don't know about pricing but would guess it would only be cost effective fro higher end homes.

Also doing a Google search for virtual tours will give you some leads.

There is some software that you can use to Live Stream video from your sell phone. you  might also be able to use Skype.

Yes, but in real-time, no pre-recorded videos. Imagine a real estate agent showcasing a house in San Francisco to a buyer who is in Palo Alto with real-time video, walking him through the bedrooms, bathroom, yard, etc.
