Podio automation

Like everyone who is using Podio, I have different apps for the different stages of each transaction.

Every time I move from one app to the next, I have to re-enter a lot of the data from my 1st app, leads.

I want to automatically populate all of my apps with selected data from app 1.

Every time I make changes to the status field in any of my apps I need to go back and update the status fields in app 1 and the others. This is a pain.

I know this can be done automatically, because I see other users doing it. I just can't find a tutorial that can show me how to.

Does anyone know how this automation is done?

Thanks to anyone who can help,

MJ

Podio within the last week rolled out a new level of automation for their paid members.  I have never used it.  I use globiflow.com which is a third party application that integrates with podio that allows you to automate tasks like you spoke of.  There is also a solution to write directly to the api which I know nothing about.  I would imagine that you could look to a website like fiverr.com to find someone that knows how to do that and build what you want on a case by case basis.

MJ, I have a made a tutorial for you.   It can very annoying manually copying any type of data.  With Podio and Globiflow, that should never happen again.  Here the video.  Shoot me a message if you have questions.  http://screencast.com/t/vCCYGGkC8
