Has anyone ever used "First 2 Contact" lead services?

I was contacted yesterday by a rep from this company who says that their hundreds of real estate websites generate thousands of leads and they collect info from them to make sure they are serious and then send them over to me as a lead - for $99 dollars a month - they guarantee at least 3 leads - this doesn't seem like a whole lot unless these leads are totally vetted - then the averages could make up for it if there were really quality leads - so I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this company / service and what your thoughts in general are on it  - honestly it doesn't seem like something I would be interested in - however the online leads I'm getting right now aren't  very high quality - what with them providing fake names , numbers, etc. Perhaps a vetted lead would be worth the $99 on a trial basis - assuming they are quality leads - thoughts? has anyone here used any lead service that was successful for you?

Completely agree with Amy. I cancelled my service once I caught on that the leads that seemed promising suddenly had their numbers disconnected and I would notice the same email addresses come through. It was shady. Save your money.

This thread is old but since this company seems to be doing another phone blitz, I thought I'd reply.  They definitely lie!  If you have to lie to get people to buy your service, there is something wrong.  They keep telling me they have a buyer, Brandon (which I overheard someone else in the same call center also say to whomever he was talking to).  It's just to get you to listen so they can give their sales pitch.  They were "desparate" for an agent in Travis county because the agent they had left (do they know how big Travis County is?)  I wasn't initially at a computer so I kept him on the phone until I was and when I looked up the company's reviews, they were terrible!  And revealed more lies!   So I asked them to give me one of their websites and I tested it out as a consumer (I hung up with the saleman and told him that I was not going to give him my credit card when I didn't really understand what I was paying for).  I was immediately called back from the same area code as the salesperson had called me from and "qualified"-not very thoroughly.  And guess what?  They do have an agent in this area which they gave me (one of the complaints was they give your information to multiple agents but I was only given one and haven't gotten any calls yet, from that agent nor any others.)   So the thing about desparately needing an agent because they have all these leads and no one to take them is BS.  I also wonder what would have happened to Brandon had I given my credit card?  I'm sure he would've disappeared somehow.   Good thing they don't have my information!  This is a scam.

I just received a call from First 2 Contact-which I had never heard of before. They said they have a buyer that is interested to buy now in my area. Once I found out it wasn't a Realtor, I asked "What's the catch?" He stated that normally they call other members but no one is available so they wanted to give me this lead and there is no cost. After asking more questions, I found out I needed to sign up and pay $129. a month with no contract needed in order to receive leads. Before they send me the contact, I will need to sign up and pay the fee. I did not appreciate his sales technique and just hung up on them.

@Amy @Keith  - thank you for your input - I have not used the service and do not believe that I will try it - I have not had any good reviews on the product as of yet. In fact - I have had several other companies calling me and promising the same thing and they have poor reviews also.  I think it is best to stick with my current system for now.

I tried them for 2 months and received leads, but most were not receptive/responsive and the ones who responded to my calls and emails, were not that motivated to buy/sell. The last lead I spoke with said that she had several agents contact her and that she was just trying to get a home value out of curiosity and is not currently interested in buying/selling. I have yet to convert any of these leads into a sale and have canceled my service. Best of luck!

Here's my experience so far since signing up January 11th...

Two days after I signed up, I received my first lead.  Called right away and I'm not sure what to say about this lead other than it sounds like there's potential so I will be following up with this one occasionally.

I received two leads this past Sunday and unfortunately turned out to be bogus.  The phone numbers provided were wrong numbers and I never received feedback via email so those are a no-go.

I received my fourth lead about an hour ago and this one is definitely ready to buy and is currently getting pre-qualified.

Hi Keith - thanks for the feedback - I look forward to hearing about how it goes for you. I grew up near your location - or at least spend most of my teen years in the inland empire - between San Bernardino , Rialto , and Highland.
