Why I love BP and the amazing community it has

It has been a really long week for me.  Long story short my husband is a member of an online community but for music fans, and online argument turned into one of their members "doxxing" him - basically looking for his online information outside of the message board.  Through his facebook he found my facebook and thought it would be funny to post my name, home address, phone number, pictures of my home, my blog, and my BP podcasts with malicious intent.

The posts were reported but it took 18 hours for their moderators to shut the thread down, and then new threads were started with the reposting of my personal information all weekend.  Luckily BP was able to stop things on their end before they got out of control.... but my blog had to be shut down and any of my online accounts deleted.

Reporting posts with my information and emails to their support staff went unanswered and my information was online for days before I finally got it down.  Then they got to the turnkey site and hacked that too.  That was when the line was really crossed and I reported it to the FBI cyber crime division (I doubt they will do anything, but one can hope)

But why I love BP is that a member, who I have never even talked to before, saw the site was down and offered to help fix it.  After spending the past few days engrained in the cesspool of another online community it was such a ray of light to be in the company of people who help each other out of the kindness of their hearts.  I cannot thank @Dustin Graham enough for what he did.  Not only was it a massive help to my personal life, but it also made me grateful to be part of a community like BP where that kind of behaviour is normal.  So thank you a million times over.
