I just listened to a short podcast talking about Uber co-founder Garrett Camp's recent launch of Haus. What are your guys opinions and thoughts on it?

I think this is a game changer in the real estate industry. Digitizing the marketplace to allow buyers and sellers to see current bids and documents at the click of a mouse.

No. Look at Zillow, that is a near useless website/application. They receive all listings over a week late after posted to MLS. Only Redfin obtains listings directly from MLS because they are registered as a broker in each county they do business in.

Most techies do not understand that real estate is a relationship-based business.  Tech that is game changing is tech that helps professionals and deal makers do everything they are already doing more effectively.

As an investor, document management is not a problem.  That is something that mortgage brokers, title companies, and agents manage.  I also do not believe that, if if they did want it, that they NEED it enough to actually spend $$$ on it.
