Social Media marketing for investors
Hey everybody just wanted to get a few opinions on what some of you do to market on social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc
I'm new in the real estate investing business in Chicago and I'm looking to start my marketing on the big social media platforms so just out of curiosity what kind of content are you guys putting out on these platforms?
Any and all comments are appreciated.

it can be very effective, it can also be a money pit. Completely depends on how you are targeting and utilizing the hits to contribute to your bottom line. In the Chicago suburbs, where you are (an area I am very familiar with, grew up nearby). You'd likely get a lot of traction as a realtor targeting young potential home buyers and families.
In more depressed nearby markets, you may get more traction with ads targeted at motivated sellers. Either way, have a goal and a definition of success before you get started. That will tell you what you should be willing to spend. Also note that you will definitely lose money finding the right formula in your advertising efforts. It's almost impossible to avoid that experimentation phase.
