First multi-family investment

Matthew Lessard
Posted

Hello, I am sure there are a lot of "I am new here" posts. But I am new to the site so I thought this would be a good place to start.

I currently rent a single family home in PHX, AZ. However, I am looking to investing into a mutli-family unit this year. I am looking in the Prescott/Prescott Valley, AZ area.

I have a few questions if someone would be so kind to answer, please see below. Any insight is much appreciated.

  • Does anyone have insight on the rental market in these areas? I have done my own research but curious about what others think.
  • What is the best way to check rental history?
  • Any other pointers on things to consider during this process would be very helpful.
